What Data We Collect
When you sign up, we get your email and password. If you're a paid member, we get payment info (processed securely by Stripe, we don't store your card). We track what picks you view, which alerts you enable, and how you use the app. IP address, browser type, and site activity get logged automatically.
How We Use It
Email goes to send you picks, alerts, and account updates. We use browsing data to improve our site and fix bugs. We analyze which picks get the most views so we can make better ones. We never sell your data. We never spam you with random stuff.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies to keep you logged in and to understand how you use the site. You can disable cookies in your browser but you might lose features. We use Google Analytics to see traffic patterns—that's standard web stuff.
Sharing Your Data
We don't sell or share your personal data with anyone. Stripe gets payment info to process charges. Our hosting provider (AWS) sees data but has contracts binding them to privacy. If law enforcement asks for data, we follow the law. Otherwise, it's yours.
Keeping It Safe
Passwords are hashed. Payment data is encrypted. We don't keep full credit card numbers. We run security updates regularly. But nothing's 100% safe—if you're worried, use a unique password and two-factor authentication.
Your Rights
You can request what data we have on you. You can ask us to delete your account. You can opt out of analytics tracking. Email support@arcticabar.com to request any of this.
Changes
We'll update this policy if laws change or we change how we handle data. Material changes get emailed to you. Keep checking back if you're paranoid about privacy.
